The Red Sox were in town to play the Braves at Turner Field, and also to send me off in fine style: Big Papi hit a home run to right center field, Josh Beckett pitched shut-out ball through 7 innings, Pedroia's base running caused 2 balks. On top of all that, my coworkers conspired with Robert to have a message post on one of the electronic boards between the 3rd and 4th innings -- "Bon Voyage and Good Luck, Taran Jefferies!" So cool to see my name in lights; I was stunned.
Just a few more fun errands to run today before I head to the airport.
